Please note: For this Pantry session we will only allow new users to book these Jamie's Pantry Slots. This means that if you have accessed the Pantry before, we kindly ask you not to book a slot for this session. This is so that we can help keep up with demand and everyone has the chance to access the Pantry.
If you are a previous user and will struggle accessing food during this week, please get in contact with the Advice Hub at: strathunion.advice@strath.ac.uk
Or please contact the Pantry Team at: strathunion.pantry@strath.ac.uk
Jamie's Pantry, formerly The Strath Pantry, was created to help tackle food insecurity within the University of Strathclyde community. Spearheaded by Jamie Campbell (VP Community 2024–2025), the Student Experience Committee and supported by the Strathclyde Alumni Development Fund, the Pantry provides free access to food items and toiletries for any student or staff member in need.
Located on the second floor of the Union building, above Roasters in the Tiny Changes Space, the Pantry is open to all and completely free to use.
Please bring your own bag. Users can book a slot via Native and only need to bring their digital ticket on the day. Each user may take up to seven items per visit, please ensure you only make one booking per week and let us know prior to your booking if you can no longer make it and need to cancel. This ensures that everyone in the Strathclyde community has the opportunity to benefit from the service.
Please do not book on behalf of someone else and do not share your QR code with anyone else. Please turn up at the appointment slot you have booked as we may not be able to accommodate you if you are extremely early or late.
If you need to cancel your slot, are running late or have any other enquiries please reach out to: strathunion.pantry@strath.ac.uk
Users may book upto one slot to use the Pantry per week
