🌊 StrathClyde Canoe Club - Beginner friendly river trip! 🚣
Fancy an adventure to kick off your uni year? Join Strathclyde Canoe Club on our next River Trip! Whether you’re brand new to paddling or already love the water, this is the perfect chance to try out canoeing and kayaking in a fun, relaxed setting.
Meet at Strathclyde Sport at 9am! You must have completed swim test and wet exit and have Canoe Club and Sports Union Membership!
We’ll provide all the kit, safety cover, and coaching; you’ll need – bring a towel, clothes to wear under a wetsuit, shoes to wear on the water, and your sense of adventure. It’s a great way to meet new people, get outdoors, and see Scotland from a totally different angle.
Intermediate level kayakers will be given the oppertunity to practice line picking, safety and assisting with the leadership of groups. This will be ran and supported by qualified coaches.
👉 No experience needed – everyone’s welcome!

Club Member
Participants must have Sports Union and Canoe Club membership prior to taking part in the activity.
Medical Form
Participants must have completed the SUCC Medical form prior to attending, any health conditions must be declared for safety
Refunds
Refunds are not routine due to the loss of spaces to others, kit required, transport and another expenses incurred by the club in planning this trip. Please contact the club if you have a reason to be refunded and we will consult with you.
