FAQ's

Q: What exactly does this get me entry to?

A: This ticket grants you entry to every nighttime event between 12th and 18th September 2026, happening at The Terrace, The Venue and our awesome Bar, your new local here at Strath Union! 

Please note in the event of the building being at capacity we will operate a 1 in 1 out system on the door and you may have to wait to enter the building so early arrival every night is strongly encouraged.

We also reserve the right to refuse entry if you are not in compliance with our code of conduct.

Q: Is this a paper ticket I need to collect?

A: No. You will receive a QR code that you scan on entry each night. You will also be asked to show your ID each night to ensure the name matches the ticket.

Q: I will be under 18 when I start uni, can I purchase a pass?

A: If you are a Strathclyde student then yes! If you are studying at a different college or uni then you have to be over 18 to enter Strath Union at night.

Q: Where do I pick up my t-shirt?

A: You can collect this from our Welcome Desk on level 1 from Thursday, September 10th after showing proof of purchase and picture ID. Final collection will be 5pm on Saturday, September 12th.

Q: I don't want this, can I still get into Freshers events at The Terrace?

A: Yes of course! There will be individual advance online ticket and pay at the door entry options each night on a first come first serve basis. This pass saves you money compared to paying in each night and guarantees your white t-shirt for the big welcome party
